There are many mixed messages in the world of literacy, it is hard to see what will not only create readers, but those who have a love for literacy.

Luminary Literacy seeks to provide insights on current reading research, practices for parents and educators, and ways to inspire a love of literacy. Our aim is to develop strong readers so each and every person has the opportunity to learn and pursue their best selves.

  • Keynote Speaking

    Luminary Literacy is on mission to empower educators so that they can partner with us in cultivating readers who love literacy. We seek to encourage teachers as they are the ones who teach children, not programs or curriculums. It is our teachers who have the biggest impact, and responsibility, in creating readers. Our Keynote presenter Betsy Alwine, will share how teachers approach their role creates the key to connecting students to their learning and a love of literacy.

  • Training

    Our training services include supporting parents with basic literacy instructional knowledge to support their developing readers, to providing practical, yet in depth content on the Science of Reading for educators. Shedding light on what makes a true impact on literacy is the core of what we believe, and we seek to get this important information into the hands of those working with students .
